Who we support
Local authorities
We support local authorities across England and Wales with SEN Tribunal appeals, judicial reviews, statutory decision-making and caseload management. We also provide training and clerking for independent admission and exclusion panels.
Schools
We advise schools on exclusions, admissions and disability discrimination claims, as well as in relation to disputes on funding with the DfE and councils. We also regularly train schools in all aspects of education law, and provide clerking services for governors' panels. Â
Parents and families
We occasionally assist parents on education law issues, including SEN Tribunal appeals and disability discrimination claims and appeals, often on a low-cost or pro bono basis, although we are unable to take on legally aided clients.Â
